Birmingham brand, Hoodrich has been making a name for itself since it was founded in 2014. Jay, the founder of Hoodrich, has turned his passion for underground streetwear, musical influences and acquired sartorial know-how into a business.
2019 sees Hoodrich now being stocked in the UK’s home of urban lifestyle gear; Footasylum. For their AW19 collection which is stocked in Footasylum, Hoodrich has teamed up with South East London’s brightest new act, Romzy to be the forefront of their first drop.
Hoodrich is inspired by street culture and this is shown through the products and designs that they produce. With this collection they have focused on how they can improve their products. The colours that they have chosen, which is a mixture of white, grey, black and red have been specifically chosen as they are easy to wear. They have used a premium logo application which you can see on the products. This allows them to stand out amongst other brands.
One things that sets Hoodrich apart is that they have concealed pockets in some of their crews, hoodies and trousers. This is a thought out idea as they realise that people carry small possessions (such as earpods, wallets and oysters) that they need to be protected or concealed without losing them.
If you search our social media, it’s no secret that we were super excited for A Black Lady’s Sketch Show to hit HBO. The entire team upgraded their Hulu to include HBO just for the show.
With the recent release of episode 4 we can say with certainty that the show is WACK AS FUCKKKKKK. Omg! Who the fuck is in the writers’ room?
The show is fashionably perfect. Visually appealing. And, the Melanin is poppin. However, the comedy is blah and the cohesiveness is missing. With a cast of super talented women and creative minds such as Issa Rae, Robin Thede and Lauren Ashley Smith as a Lead Writer, come on sis! This show should be knocking it out the park. Instead, we still tryna past first base.
At this point, can we get a few Wayans Brothers on the writing team? We appreciate the all female writers, but this is some bullshit!
To date, Episode 1 was the best and it has gotten worse and worse by the episode.
Have you seen it yet? If so, what’s your take?
Let’s be clear! While everyone is mad at Jay-Z, Jay is clearing checks. Furthermore, we know that Jay is a very calculated. There’s no way he made this move without planning 10 steps ahead.
It’s funny how everyone who has such a major opinion and who is so appalled hasn’t done anything more than post a hashtag. And, Kaps girl just tryna ride the wave. Fukk outta here bytch!
Dear Trina, may I mention your name?
Hunni Trina was NOT having it with the gurls… Let us catch you up. The Diamond Princess took to Instagram on Tuesday to advise she had something to say and would be going LIVE on Wednesday.
Chileeeeeeeeeee! When we tell you the day was LONG AS FUKKKKKKK. It took Da Baddest Bitch FOREVER to go live. But when she did. Motha Did NOT PLAY WITH THE GURLS!
This fine specimen of a man has the power to fuck the entire #TrueSlamBook staff if he wanted to. The way in which his FINE-ness is set up is the definition of Fine Ass Man!
Odell Beckham Jr. has killed GQ‘s August 2019 Cover and we are here for it.
Odell Cornelious Beckham Jr. (born November 5, 1992) is an American football wide receiver for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beckham played college football at nearby Louisiana State University (LSU), and was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft with the 12th overall pick. Since entering the NFL, Beckham has been one of the most productive and popular players, but he has drawn media scrutiny for his conduct on and off the playing field.
Beckham started the 2012 BCS National Championship Game in his first year playing for the LSU Tigers, and won the Paul Hornung Award following his junior season in 2013. In his first season with the New York Giants, Beckham broke numerous NFL rookie receiving records, despite missing the first four games of the season due to injury. Beckham became the first player to record more than 75 receptions, 1,100 yards, and ten touchdowns in a rookie season, and broke the rookie record for the most average receiving yards per game. During Week 12 of his first season, Beckham came to national attention when he made a one-handed touchdown catch whilst falling backwards in a Sunday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys, which numerous pundits and athletes called the greatest catch ever made. Beckham went on to win the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Beckham continued his remarkable form beyond his rookie season. In 2016, he became the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 200 career receptions and 4,000 career receiving yards. In 2016, he recorded his first 100-reception season and reached the NFL playoffs for the first time in his career, after helping the Giants to an 11–5 season record. Beckham was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons in the NFL, and has been named a second-team All-Pro twice.-Wikipedia
