Recently Ed Hardy have had a content shoot with the help of model Bud and Aidan Williams. Going back to their roots the campaign was shot by Donald Michael Chambers who shot Ed’s first campaign. Items worn in the shoot are products from Ed’s recent Footasylum range which is now available online and in-store. As well as that they shot some of their French Licensees product to support their AW18/SS19 launch.

As the final installment of ARKK’s revolutionary WAVE13 sneaker saga, the all-new HYPERTREX FG BOA W13 unites the essential strands of ARKK’s design DNA: a clean, minimalist silhouette, a custom-crafted sole unit, and a nod to futurism. In collaboration with the award-winning, and industry respected Boa®, ARKK Copenhagen revealed the HYPERTREX FG BOA W13 on Friday, September 28, 2018 10 AM CET / 4 AM EST.
Unquestionably ARKK’s most futuristic sneaker to date, the HYPERTREX combines contemporary design innovation, including a sleek sock-like FutureGrid upper and ARKK’s sculptural WAVE13 sole unit, with Boa’s adaptive click-to-tie lacing system. “Engineered to optimize fit and provide precision, adaptability, and control, “Boa’s technical genius combines with ARKK’s Scandinavian design language beautifully. A micro-adjustable dial with Quick-Release and durable soft nylon wires move along low friction lace guides along the lateral surfaces of the sneaker’s quarter panel. “It’s such a clean, functional design,” says ARKK Creative Director Kasper Høj Rasmussen, “you gotta love that beautiful clicking sound every time you lace up.”
“Since the beginning, [ARKK co-founder] Thomas and I always wanted to bring in more technology,” explained Kasper Høj Rasmussen, “but before we were ready to collaborate with bigger players in the world of footwear, we had to focus on learning the sneaker game and establishing our own identity and design DNA.” Now, three years later, “we have a lot more confidence and we know the kinds of partners we want to team up with. “With the incorporation of Boa, “we were able to give the HYPERTREX not only an element of practical, high-quality tech , but also add an aesthetic dimension that fits perfectly in line with the ARKK DNA.” When asked whether or not this new ARKK + Boa collaboration signals more sneaker tech collabs in ARKK’s future, Rasmussen says, “yeah definitely, this is just the beginning.”
In many ways, the daring new HYPERTREX FG BOA W13, the final installment of ARKK’s FW18 WAVE13 lineup of sneakers, signifies the next-level evolution of ARKK Copenhagen from industry-disrupting start-up to trend-setting global brand.
