Are you ready for the Money 2018 Collection?
Going into its third spring collection in America, Slovakian-based Novesta is launching new colorways for the brand’s hero sneakers STAR MASTER low top and STAR DRIBBLE high top as well as introducing a new STAR MASTER SLIP-ON sneaker. Bloodworth & Company will manage North America brand sales.
The Novesta story began in 1939 when the famous shoemaker Jan Antonin Bata opened a factory in the small town of Partizánske in the middle of Slovakia. Since its debut, Novesta had become one of the most popular brands throughout Europe. Novesta’s unique sneakers, which pair imaginative design with timeless sophistication, are a favorite around the world. The brand is dedicated to manufacturing shoes according to the highest environmental standards, using materials such as natural rubber and 100% cotton and linen. These certified materials allow Novesta to produce ecological footwear of the highest quality. The natural rubber sole is machine-pressed onto the body of the shoe. The shoe is then finished by precise manual work completed by skilled craftsmen. This ethnical and ecological process results in tire marks around the outsole which is Novesta’s trademark look. The Novesta signature outsole features the brand’s signature TRAMPKY GUY. “Tramp” is the slovakian word for hiking, and “TRAMPKY”, is what Slovakians use to define sneakers. During the 1950’s, hiking became the most popular recreational trend across Europe for nearly a decade. In honor of this, Novesta created the first shoe to accommodate all of Europe’s hiking needs. In 1960, the “Trampky Guy” was born.
The S’18 collection is based on a multiple of classics with the core style of Novesta presented in Japanese denim. Novesta’s classic models emerged in the 1940’s and ’50’s and gradually became the shape of European footwear. Denim has a history as an American textile, brought to Japan in 1945 as military surplus products after WWII. Supported by the fabric dye experience and cotton textile production, Japanese denim has become one of the most prestigious and classic textiles in the last seventy years.
Novesta styles featuring Japanese denim are created with respect for the legacy of both cultures, defining a new basic for Spring 2018. New colors in the classic STAR MASTER and STAR DRIBBLE include BLANKYT (ice blue), BLUEPRINT (an exclusive Slovakian print), and Japan Denim in Black, Blue, Grey, Navy, and Red. The new STAR MASTER SLIP-ON is available in a variety of colors, and the STAR MASTER COLOUR SOLE features new White uppers with a choice of Pink, Orange, Navy, Green, Red, or Yellow soles.

This season Le Fix SS18 collection is about searching for what actually makes people happy in their daily routines. Often things we do become known by heart without us actually thinking much about them – just constant repetitions. Therefore, Le Fix paused the hectic city life of fixed routines to think about how to find happiness in even the smallest and most trivial things.
These thoughts lead them to the outskirts and suburbs of Denmark to find out what makes the younger generation who are based further away from the bigger cities happy. The result became a reliving of our own 90s rave period mixed up with young and refreshed energy.
Le Fix SS18 collection consists of their classic Le Fix sport aesthetics including tracksuits in abstract patterns with custom tapes mixed with 90s raver inspired artworks. They have used polyester, cotton, linen, corduroy and crepe fabrics. The colours are bright neon, citrus, lavender and aqua in combination with the more traditional Le Fix colours white, red, navy and black. Welcome to the collection!
Smart Turnout is the brainchild of Founder Philip Turner, who, after spending a decade serving in the Scots Guards, was invited to ride in the Grand Military at Sandown Race Course. After designing his own racing colours he found many of his serving friends so impressed and inspired by his colour choices that he began producing jumpers in his regimental colours for them to wear. This led to the birth of Smart Turnout, a quintessentially British brand in every sense, with a focus on bringing the colours of the military alive in a fashion focused market. From its beginnings in knitwear and apparel Smart Turnout is now widely regarded as the go to watches and accessories brand for gentleman around the globe.
In classic Smart Turnout style our Christmas edit is derived from the military and has taken key inspiration from the rich and striking colours of British regiments and preppy Ivy League institutions with a nod to warm tones for the winter months.

This season Novesta has upped their game, producing a range of minimalist color-ways from Burel wool, an artisanal Portuguese felt fabric known for its water resistance and durability. Burel is a premium textile manufacturer based in the mountainous Serra da Estrela region of Portugal, an area known for its felt making knowledge that has been passed down for generations.
The shoes have been produced using Novesta’s environmentally friendly manufacturing process. Novesta uses heat and pressure to bind the felt uppers to the rubber sole, avoiding the use of toxic glues and chemicals, so not only do they look great on your feet but they are also friendly to the planet.
This season’s offerings are available in 8 colours: mahogany, army green, dark grey, light grey, white pearl, dark green, avocado and sarrubeco. Outsoles are also represented in several earthy shades to underline the fall-winter feel.
